When does my current certification level expire
Coaching certification levels are valid for three years; however, you must be certified for the level of play you are currently coaching.
NOTE: Your League, under AAU, requires a Level 3 certification; the same as required by USA Hockey.
If your card has expired, you must recertify at the level that has expired.

If you are Level 1 or Level 2 coach, you must move up to the next Level and attend a clinic BEFORE the expiration date to remain a current coach.
If you are a Level 3 coach, you must attend another Level 3 clinic, move up and attend a Level 4 clinic, or complete the online recertification program through FlexxCoach BEFORE the expiration date to remain a current coach. New Rule: - New Coaches (Level 1 & 2) are only allowed on the bench accompanied by a Level 3 Coach. - Under no circumstances is a new coach or Level 1 & 2 Coach allowed on the bench by themselves. - Trainers are no longer allowed on the bench except in the case of an injury.
New Player REGISTRATION - All new players, coaches and personel must register on line and notification must be made to the board no less than 48 hours prior to participating in any league activity. Go to www.aausports.org to register. When you print out the acknowledgement, it must be submitted to your G.M. to be included on the team roster.
Players, etc. whose forms have not been provided to the League VP for that level are not eligible to participate.
